Oil drops ahead of OPEC meetings on production curbs

TOKYO (Reuters) - Oil prices edged lower before the start of OPEC talks in Vienna later on Thursday, erasing some of the sharp gains made in the previous session on anticipation that producers will expand output cuts and after a sharp drop in U.S. crude inventories.Brent crude futures dipped 8 cents, or 0.1%, to $62.92 a barrel by 0738 GMT.
