European shares get uplift from dovish Fed comments

LONDON (Reuters) - European shares inched up on Thursday as dovish comments from Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell helped offset uncertainty over a possible escalation in the U.S./China trade dispute.The STOXX 600 rose as much as 0.8 percent.
