UK issues guidance for employers as lockdown cautiously eased

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain published guidance for employers on how they should begin the cautious re-opening of the economy after Prime Minister Boris Johnson laid out a planned route towards an easing of the coronavirus lockdown.The guidance said employers should re-design workspaces to maintain 2-metre distances between workers, operate staggered shift systems if necessary and use barriers to minimise risk of virus transmission in workspaces where there cannot be physical distancing.
