Singapore core inflation hits lowest in over four years

SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Singapore's core inflation gauge rose 0.3% in January from a year earlier, its lowest level since December 2015 and well below economists' expectations, data showed on Monday.The median forecast in a Reuters poll had been for a 0.8% percent rise.Singapore's headline consumer price index rose 0.8% from a year earlier, slightly below poll expectations of 0.9%.
